Eagles Sign Saquon Barkley and other Free Agents

Front Office Makes Key Moves
The Philadelphia Eagles have been busy in free agency, making a number of key signings to bolster their roster for the 2024 season. Among the most notable additions is running back Saquon Barkley, who was released by the New York Giants earlier this offseason.
Barkley is a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro selection who has rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his first four seasons in the NFL. He is expected to play a major role in the Eagles' offense in 2024, alongside quarterback Jalen Hurts and wide receiver A.J. Brown.
In addition to Barkley, the Eagles have also signed a number of other free agents, including:
- Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson
- Edge rusher Bryce Huff
- Cornerback James Bradberry
- Linebacker Kyzir White
These signings are expected to help the Eagles improve on their 9-8 record from 2023 and compete for a playoff spot in 2024.
